Positive: The villa is up on a hill, surrounded by gorgeous, idyllic views of the sea and surrounding countryside from all sides. Situated away from any major resorts or crowds in a village, it is in a great location and a very convenient drive from Chania airport. Our stay was peaceful, with plenty of wonderful, local tavernas in the area offering delicious food and lots of lovely beaches and coves nearby - accessible either by a walk down the hill, or a short drive away, if you prefer to venture a bit further afield. The area feels safe at night and the house has a gated drive. The villa itself is impeccably and beautifully designed, with gorgeous, modern interiors, so much natural light and some very thoughtful, stylish touches. There is plenty of space, every bedroom had its own bathroom and there were several very comfortable indoor and outdoor seating areas to relax with family or friends. The pool is a great size too and all the outdoor patios and balconies are sizeable and all have beautiful views. The manager was incredibly welcoming, friendly and provided so many excellent recommendations of places to eat and visit in the area, which was incredibly thoughtful and helpful. Overall, we had a wonderful and very comfortable, luxurious stay!
